Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our daycare services

What are your hours of operation?

The Dawg House Daycare is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. We're closed on Sundays and major holidays. Early drop-off and late pick-up can be arranged with advance notice for an additional fee.

What requirements do dogs need to meet?

All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), be spayed/neutered if over 6 months old, and pass a temperament assessment. We require proof of vaccinations before the first visit and an annual health check form signed by your veterinarian.

Do I need to bring food for my dog?

Yes, please bring your dog's regular food in a sealed container with their name clearly labeled. We recommend portioning meals in separate bags or containers for each feeding time. This helps maintain consistency in their diet and prevents stomach upset.

How are dogs grouped during playtime?

Dogs are separated into playgroups based on size, temperament, play style, and energy level—not just by size alone. This ensures that each dog feels comfortable and can play appropriately with their companions. Our staff continuously monitors group dynamics and may adjust groupings as needed.
