Boarding FAQs

How far in advance should I book boarding?

We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance for regular periods and 4-6 weeks ahead for holiday seasons or summer months. Last-minute bookings may be accommodated based on availability, but early reservations ensure you secure your preferred suite type.

What should I bring for my dog's stay?

Please bring the following items for your dog's comfort:

  • Your dog's regular food in pre-portioned bags or a sealed container
  • Any medications with clear dosage instructions
  • A familiar item with your scent (t-shirt, small blanket)
  • Your dog's favorite toy (limit to 1-2 items)
  • Treats (if desired)
  • Detailed care instructions and emergency contact information

We provide premium bedding, bowls, and all other necessities during your dog's stay.

What if my dog needs medication during their stay?

Our staff is trained to administer most oral and topical medications at no additional charge. Medications should be brought in their original containers with clear instructions. For injectable medications or complex medical needs, please discuss with us in advance. We maintain detailed medication logs and can accommodate special schedules.

How will I know how my dog is doing while I'm away?

We provide daily updates via text or email with photos of your dog enjoying their stay. You can also call during business hours for a verbal update. For added peace of mind, our optional video call service allows you to see and interact with your pet virtually. Our staff will immediately contact you if there are any concerns about your dog's wellbeing.

What happens if my dog has a medical emergency?

Your dog's safety is our top priority. In case of a medical emergency, we will first attempt to contact you and your emergency contact. We have relationships with local veterinary clinics and 24-hour emergency hospitals. If immediate care is needed and we cannot reach you, we will transport your pet to receive medical attention and continue attempting to contact you. All boarders are required to have a current credit card on file and emergency medical consent form signed.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations made 7+ days before check-in: Full refund of deposit
  • Cancellations 3-6 days before check-in: 50% refund of deposit
  • Cancellations less than 3 days before check-in: No refund of deposit
  • Holiday periods (major holidays and peak seasons) require 14-day notice for full refund
